Penalty

Lets just get one thing straight, At old trafford last night I was sat in the north stand 2nd tier directly in-line with the ‘foul’ on Gerrard thought brought about the penalty and I just want to say Yes he dived.

But I only know this from the benefit of tv replays.

On the night, as Gav will testify I thought it was a stone wall penalty. The reason for this is because the Hungarian players had been fouling our lot in and around the box all evening so when Gerrard went down I, like the referee, assumed he had been tripped.

Of course It’s all irrelevant, Lampard missed, Gerrard the centre forward scored and we went on to win 3-1. So what’s everybody going on about?
