As August draws to a close all the talk is about the warm September ‘THEY’ say we’re going to be having. Since the start of this wonderful British summer we’ve put up with the constant rain with the promise of an Indian Summer just around the corner.
The problem is ‘THEY’ are the same people who I’ve listened to when deciding whether or not to take a coat and often getting wet after leaving it home. ‘THEY’ are the same people that have told us we’ve received a normal amount of rain for August. Strange I don’t ever remember the Races at York being abandoned completely because of flooding?
We can just wait and see, I don’t hold out much hope though.
